Portuguese Red Cross prepares to receive first group of young refugees

They’re mainly boys, aged between 15-17 who arrived in Europe ‘alone’ and have been living ever since in refugee camps in Greece.

This is the description of the 25 young Afghan refugees, due to arrive in Lisbon next week.

They will be cared for by the Portuguese Red Cross which has prepared a building in Penha de França to take up to 250 youngsters by the end of the year.
