322 stranded Nigerians evacuated from from the US

A total of 322 stranded Nigerians as a result of COVID-19 pandemic arrived the country from the United States of America on Saturday.

According to a series of tweets by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, the evacuees tested negative for COVID-19 before boarding and they would immediately proceed on the 14 days mandatory self-isolation.

“All evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 and will now proceed on 14 days self-isolation as mandated by the National Centre for Disease Control and the Federal Ministry of Health, and the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

“322 evacuees arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos via Flyethiopia ET 509 from the USA. All evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 and will now proceed on 14 days self-isolation as mandated by the National Centre for Disease Control and the Federal Ministry of Health, and the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.”
