UNICEF says 31 percent of Syrian children in the kingdom are not enrolled in any 'formal or informal education programme'.
Jordan is home to almost a quarter of a million Syrian refugee children, who have been displaced by the war.
The numbers are putting pressure on the school system, which is expanding teaching time so more refugees can get an education.
