UAE provides humanitarian aid worth AED10 million to Venezuelan refugees in Colombia

The United Arab Emirates, represented by the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has provided emergency humanitarian assistance worth AED10 million to Venezuelan refugees in Colombia, including 75,000 food parcels, medical supplies, and medicines benefiting 375,000 refugees.

The move follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the follow up of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the ERC.

The directives of the wise leadership are part of the humanitarian and development efforts undertaken by the UAE in the international arena based on its principles and approach in providing assistance to all those in need.
