Poland refuses to accept migrants from Ukraine

The country has more than a million Ukrainians.

The Polish government will not agree to accept refugees under new resettlement programme in the European Union. This was stated by the Minister of internal Affairs of Poland Mariusz Blashak.

The Minister stressed that the country is already a lot of Ukrainians, and such “ideologically motivated conception of” resettlement jeopardize Poland and the poles.

“Resettlement is a mechanism that will not be effective,” he said after discussion, the EU Ministers of member countries of the European Union.

According to Blaschka, it will lead to a surge in migration to Europe – not thousands, but millions of people.

The Minister noted that in Poland there are over a million of Ukrainians, which are partly migrant workers, and partly left the country after the invasion of Russia.

We will remind, Ukrainians constitute the fifth part of all foreigners arriving in Poland, but in terms of spending money per trip are the undisputed leaders.
