U.S yesterday announced its withdrawal from a Global Compact HIM protection of migrants and refugees for being "incompatible" with their immigration policy.
"Today, the US mission to the UN (United Nations Organization) Secretary General informed that the US will end its participation in the Global Compact on Migration" said representation Washington through a statement.
UN officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment before the US decision. "No country did more than the United States and our generosity will endure," Haley said. "But our decisions on immigration policy should be taken by the Americans and only by Americans. We will decide the best way to control our borders and who will be allowed to enter our country, "he said.
